Hello Friends, Family, and Colleagues,
On October 19, 2008 I will run 26.2 miles at the Nike Women’s Marathon in San Francisco to help find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. (I know…that is a lot of miles!!) I am raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) as a participant in their Team In Training program and I’m asking you to help by making a donation to my fundraising campaign.
Please use the link in this email to access my personal webpage and learn more about my progress. You may donate online quickly and securely plus you will receive a confirmation of your donation by email and I will be notified as soon as you make your donation. All donations are 100% tax deductible and 75 percent of the Society’s expenditures directly advance our mission. PLEASE help me reach my goal

If you know someone affected by cancer please email me back and share their story (and a picture if you have one). I will personally think about these individuals while I am running. It will give me that extra energy I need as I battle my way to the finish line come October.
Thank you for your help!
Melissa (Rodriguez) Cappetti
P.S. I would appreciate it if you would forward this email to as many people as you can to encourage them to donate as well.
Does your employer match donations? Doesn’t hurt to ask ![]()
